About LPGA Amateur Golf Association – Greater Toronto Area

The LPGA Amateur Golf Association – Greater Toronto Area is a non-profit community made up of ladies of all levels who share a passion for golf! Our mission is to provide a welcoming golf community for all women.

LPGA Amateur Golf Association – Greater Toronto Area

In 1998, Sandra Post, a Canadian Golf Hall of Famer and LPGA member, and Cheryl Bailey brought the EWGA to Canada and the EWGA-West Chapter was born.  In late 2002, the Organization’s name was changed to Greater Toronto Area (GTA) to better reflect our member demographics. In 2018, the Executive Women’s Golf Association (EWGA) aligned with the LPGA and LPGA Foundation to become the LPGA Amateur Golf Association.  From its modest beginnings we maintain a membership of over 100 women of all golfing abilities.

LPGA Amateur Golf Association – Greater Toronto Area offers a variety of women specific initiatives focused on growing the game of golf for women in the Greater Toronto Area. We offer golf opportunities, clinics and activities for women golfers of all levels, in a friendly and welcoming environment.  Play 9 or 18 holes, play as little or as much as you want. Most of all…. have FUN!

There are now over 12,000 members worldwide and over 100 chapters.
